A New Chapter
For over twenty years, millinery has been my craft.
For more than a decade, Katie Mangan Millinery has lived online, growing into something far bigger than I ever imagined. I've created pieces for women literally all over the world - for weddings, race days, special moments and everything in between.
Last year, I stepped away.
Living in Brazil gave me something I hadn’t had in a long time - space. Space from constant production. Space from seasonal pressure. Space to think about how I actually want to work.
And it changed things.
KMM will not return as it was before.
I don’t want to produce in volume.
I don’t want endless restocks.
I don’t want pieces that exist just for a single day in the calendar.
A Different Way of Working
Going forward, collections will be released in small, carefully curated drops.
Many pieces will be one of one. Others will exist only in single digits.
When a release goes live, that is the moment.
If you see something you love - buy it. Because it may never be made again.
This isn’t scarcity as a tactic. It’s intention.
I want each piece to feel considered. Collectable. Personal.
Edition One
Edition One marks the beginning of this new direction - smaller in scale, sharper in vision. Every piece individually crafted. No mass production. No excess.
Just designs I believe in.
What’s Next
I’m also incredibly excited to be collaborating with Francesca Couture for the 2026 season. It’s not a new partnership, we’ve dressed so many women between us over the years. However, this time it feels different. More refined. More aligned. More intentional.
Details will follow soon.
This isn’t a comeback.
It’s an evolution.
And if you’re here for it - thank you.
Katie
