Terms & Conditions

Overview

This website is operated by Katie Mangan Studio.
Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Katie Mangan Studio, operated by Katie Mangan as a sole trader.

By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

Products & Availability

All products are individually handmade. As a result, slight variations in size, colour and finish may occur. These variations are inherent to the nature of the work and are not considered faults.

Many items are produced in limited quantities or made to order. Availability may change without notice and we reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue products at our discretion.

Made-to-Order & Limited Collections

The majority of pieces are made to order or produced in small, limited runs.

Items described as Made to Order are produced specifically for each customer and are non-returnable and non-refundable, except where faulty.

Made-to-order items are exempt from cancellation under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Production timelines are listed on individual product pages and should be reviewed prior to purchase.

Bespoke Orders

Bespoke commissions are offered on a very limited basis and are not available year-round.

When bespoke commissions are available:

  • A 50% deposit is required prior to commencement

  • The remaining balance is payable before collection or dispatch

  • Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced, reflecting time and materials committed to the commission

Bespoke commissions are non-returnable and non-refundable unless found to be faulty.

Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in GBP and are subject to change without notice.

Payment methods include credit/debit card, PayPal and Klarna (subject to availability and eligibility).

Full payment is required for all online purchases prior to dispatch.

Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes or import fees incurred.

Shipping

Orders are dispatched via Royal Mail or an equivalent courier service.

Delivery times refer to transit only and do not include production time.
Production timelines are outlined on individual product pages.

We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs processing, adverse weather or circumstances beyond our control once an item has been dispatched.

Returns & Exchanges

Returns and exchanges are governed by our Returns Policy.

In summary:

  • Returns and exchanges apply only to items listed as In Stock

  • Made-to-order, bespoke and customised items are non-returnable

  • Faulty items will be assessed and resolved in accordance with your statutory rights

Cancellations

Orders for made-to-order or bespoke items cannot be cancelled once production has begun.

Orders for in-stock items may be cancelled prior to dispatch.

Intellectual Property

All designs, imagery, text and content on this website are the intellectual property of Katie Mangan.

No part of this site may be reproduced, copied or used without written permission.

Liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, delays outside our control, or misuse or improper handling of products.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your statutory consumer rights.

Privacy

Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
