Introducing The Race Day Edit - a carefully selected collection of complete race day outfits designed specifically for the races. Each look pairs Francesca Couture’s elegant occasionwear with Katie Mangan’s signature headwear, creating coordinated outfits that feel polished, modern and effortless.
The Grand National is just around the corner. Finding the perfect outfit can often mean searching for a dress, then trying to find a hat or headpiece that works with it. The Race Day Edit simplifies that process.
Every piece within the collection has been styled as a complete look from head to toe.
The result is a series of elegant race day outfits that take the stress out of getting dressed, allowing you to feel confident and ready for the occasion.
The Search for the Face of the Campaign
When it came to bringing the edit to life, we both wanted to do something different.
Rather than working with traditional agency models, we wanted the campaign to feature real women - someone who genuinely represents the women attending the races.
We opened the search to our community, inviting women aged 25–45 who felt confident in front of the camera and excited about race day fashion.
The response was incredible.
Selecting the final models was not easy, but the process felt incredibly special and allowed us to connect with the women who truly wear and love these pieces. Our models Kayley and Eva were absolutely amazing to work with and the photographs just show how gorgeous they are.
The Shoot
The campaign shoot focused on capturing the elegance and energy of race day style.
Francesca Couture’s beautifully tailored designs paired seamlessly with Katie Mangan Studio’s structured headwear, including statement bows, veiled headpieces and timeless silhouettes designed specifically for race day.
Each look was styled to feel elevated but wearable - the kind of outfit you would feel confident arriving in at Ladies Day or the Grand National Festival.
The result is a collection of looks that feel classic, feminine and modern, created with the excitement of race season in mind.
